The Deer Park Lions Club is delighted to award the Francis D. Oliva $1,000 scholarship to a deserving high school student who is a Deer Park resident and will be attending college this fall.
This is given in memory of past president Frank Oliva, who was very involved in the community.
Criteria used: Community service, grade point average, student activities and financial need.
The application must be postmarked by May 1 and the winner will be announced June 1.
