Babylon Town Board Members Congratulate New North Babylon Eagle Scout

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Tom Donnelly to present Scott Joseph Langdon of North Babylon with an official Town Proclamation for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. A Court of Honor ceremony was held by Boy Scout Troop 399 at the North Babylon High School Auditorium to mark Scott’s accomplishment. For his Eagle Project, Scott planned, managed and supervised the renovation of the playground area at St. Paul’s Reformed Church in North Babylon. To fund the project, Scott held a car wash and gathered donations from local businesses. Since 1975, Troop 399 has produced 44 Eagle Scouts, the highest honor given by the Boy Scouts of America.
