The Deer Park Falconette varsity kickline team recently traveled to Orlando, Fla. to participate in the Contest of Champions National Competition, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. Led by captains Toni Ann Cox and Taylor Thomas, the team earned first place in the pom category, adding one more trophy to their remarkable season, one in which they remained undefeated in the kick category of the Long Island Kickline Association competitions.
