Trinity Lutheran Church-Wyandanch is offering the following at no cost

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County in Conjunction with Suffolk County Department of Health is offering a four-part, interactive 2-hour diabetes class series at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wyandanch. The classes will be held on Wednesday evenings, August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The topic is diabetes self-management and classes will be taught by a registered dietitian and registered nurse who are both certified diabetes educators. Participants in the class will learn about healthy eating for diabetes and how to manage diabetes and prevent complications along with other topics related to diabetes.
