D'Amaro Updates Residents About Pinelawn Road Project

I am pleased to announce that a major phase in the long awaited reconstruction of Pinelawn Road (County Road 3) is set to move forward.  Specifically, the Suffolk County Legislature has approved the County’s $3.3 million share of the $18.5 million reconstruction project.  The appropriation, which represents 20% of the estimated total project cost, now entitles the County to qualify for an additional $15.2 million in Federal aid that will fully fund the project.

Monster Bash at Babylon Grade School

Look out for the ghost and goblins and all of the other wonderful costumes that the children of Babylon Grade School created for their annual Monster Bash! There were lots of music, dancing, treats and plenty of fun! Principal Goldberg came down to help celebrate with the kids!

Boost Recovery with Physical Therapy

A physical therapy program can help improve, restore or maintain the necessary level of function for a fulfilling life.

Physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapy assistants (PTAs) educate, motivate and support patients to speed recovery after surgery or illness, improve independence at home or prevent the recurrence of a chronic injury.

Real or Fake

The Jets started this season with a last second victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  But since that victory it has been win one, lose one.  They lost to the Patriots in a game the Jets still think they won. Triumphed over the Bills in Geno Smith’s break out game, but then laid an egg against the Titans.

They came back, twice, to beat the Falcons in a nationally televised game only to bring their swagger back home to be humiliated by the then winless Steelers.
