New York State is hosting a two hour Citizen Preparedness Training Program on Saturday at Farmingdale State College.
The program is meant to give residents the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions, officials said.
The training session will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room in Roosevelt Hall on the college campus located at 2350 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale.
