Here are five things to know about today in Deer Park and North Babylon.
1. Read Aloud to a Specialty Trained Therapy Dog at the Deer Park Library today at 4:30 p.m. Register at the library or call 631-586-3000.
2. There will be a Suffolk County Public Hearing On Sandy Response at The Rose Y. Caracappa Auditorium in the William H. Rogers Building, 25 Veterans Hwy, Smithtown, NY 11787, starting at 6 p.m.
3. The Ice Skating Rink at Tanger Outlets in Deer Park is open today; 3-9 p.m. Admission is $7 and skate rentals are $3.
