Nov. 27: Toys for Tots Drive
Here are five things to know about today in Deer Park and North Babylon.
1. A Toys for Tots Drive is taking place at the North Babylon Library. Bring donations of new, unwrapped toys to the library. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 18.
2. There will be a North Babylon Board of Education meeting tonight at Robert Moses Middle School, starting at 8 p.m.
3. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office announced Tuesday that restoration of New York from Hurricane Sandy's devastation will cost more than $32 billion.
