North Babylon Welcome Sign Repaired After Sandy

The greeting sign has been fixed after the storm blew its pieces to the ground.

The "Welcome to North Babylon" sign is back up on Deer Park Avenue near the entrance to the Southern State Parkway. 

Superstorm Sandy left its mark in North Babylon by taking out the sign, power and trees in the area.

The sign now stands tall again as a strong symbol of recovery.
