Deer Park Youth Cheerleaders Named Tanger "Smile Ambassadors"
Local girls recruit Facebook "likes" for the Deer Park shopping center.
Girls from the Deer Park competition cheerleading team used their energy and spunk to pump up shoppers and recruit Facebook fans for Tanger Outlets at The Arches Memorial Day weekend.
Led by coordinator Tami Hernandez, the girls, ages 4-11, were named "smile ambassadors" for Tanger's national race to earn 50,000 new Facebook "likes."
The cheerleaders handed out goodies and giveaways including Frisbees and candy in exchange for each new "like."
