With Christmas two weeks away and Hanukkah being celebrated through Dec. 16, residents across Deer Park and North Babylon are on the hunt for gifts and party goods to celebrate the holidays with family and friends.
Perhaps more than ever this year, there is added importance on supporting local businesses. Already facing challenging economic conditions, local merchants are also looking to drive sales in an effort to recover revenue lost while area residents focused their attention on the cleanup from Hurricane Sandy.
