What's Happening: Wednesday's Events

Wednesday is here and the middle of the week has a couple of great events going on around our area.

If you have had the jacket and umbrella out for the past few days, it might safe to put the first away but keep the latter handy as thunderstorms will continue to roll over the area throughout the daytime hours. Highs will attempt to hit 70 for the first time in a few days, but will cool down into the mid-50s at night.

Own a local small business and looking to expand it's reach and network? Look no further than the being held at the Olympic Diner in Deer Park at 7:00am. The event is open to business owners, although one type per profession is preferred.

Get your fitness on with the fun and never-ending classes. Chrissy will be instructing zuma mixed with dance fitness starting at 10:00am. The event is open to all ages and costs $5.00.

Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center will host its weekly "" Cancer Support Group meeting at 11:00am. The group is open to all those with cancer, survived cancer or with loved ones that have or have had cancer.

The North Babylon Public Library will host starting at 2:00pm. The event, for ages 3 through 5, will include stories, songs, crafts and parachute time. The library requests attendees register beforehand here.
