The press office for Waldbaum's parent company, , has not yet responded to confirm that closure is on the books. But the local rumor mill is already churning about several possible replacements. Patch will update the story when we can confirm any one of them.

In the meantime, Patch wants to know what kind of business the community most wants to fill the space.

As usual, the greedy landlords are making it hard to stay in business. If they don't lower the amount of their lease the location may be empty for years.

A Trader Joe's would be a nice addition....best of both worlds...good prices, organic and terrific store made products. Not overpriced liked Fairway! Come on Trader Joe...put in your bid!!!
