The park's scenic views, peaceful lake and nature trails make it an easy winner. Whether it's paddle boating, biking, fishing or a family picnic, the local state park offers something for everyone.
Visitors will have even more to like about the park after it gets a makeover. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced last month that the local gem will receive as part of an investment project aimed at creating jobs and rehabilitating New York landmarks.
