Counselors from the New York State Small Business Development Center will be at Babylon Town Hall next week to assist owners with any needs related to Hurricane Sandy.
The representatives, who are based out of Farmingdale State College, will help with documentation and paperwork preparation for those seeking recovery from damages during the storm.
Several businesses suffered flooding and structural damage in the areas hardest hit by the storm, including The Venetian in Babylon, which was pummeled and is not expected to open for at least three months.
Babylon Docks was completely ruined and much of it remained hanging off the back of the building precariously as workers cleared the insides of the building.
A counselor will be available from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5; Wednesday, Nov. 7; Thursday, Nov. 8 and Friday Nov. 9 at Babylon Town Hall, located at 200 E Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst in the Town Board Room.
