Ice Hockey is Back! HHH/Deer Park/Whitman Varsity Game

You don't have to go to Russia to see some exciting hockey.

Come out for a night of power-ranked play, this Wednesday, December 5, at 7:50 PM, when The Half Hollow Hills Varsity Ice Hockey Team, featuring the best players from Half Hollow Hills, Deer Park, and the Walt Whitman School Districts, faces off against long-standing rival Sachem Varsity. Primed for action, the teams will be televised by the MSG Varsity Channel. Hornets Coach Brian Statfeld knows the excitement of fan participation. "Having played the game, I remember the big ones in high school . We had 500 people watching. It was amazing.  We got positive feedback afterwards for weeks and months on end. Those memories last a lifetime for the players and the fans."
Each with eight games played so far this year in the Suffolk County High School Hockey League, Half Hollow Hills is tied for first place, Sachem is tied for third. With no lock-out on this sheet of ice, these two teams will be facing off against each other for the first time this season. Sachem, no doubt, will attempt to avenge last year's 3-2 double-overtime, quarterfinal contest between the two teams.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to see your team in action!
Game Time: This Wednesday, December 5th, 7:50pm,The Rinx, 660 Terry Road, Hauppauge. The Rinx is 5 minutes north LIE Exit 58.
