Average gas prices on Long Island have soared above $4 a gallon in the past month, according to AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
In just the last week alone, the average price has gone from $4.04 to $4.12 a gallon, and that's just for regular, never mind if you want the premium stuff.
