Armed Carjacking Reported in North Babylon
Incident occurred last week in the Sunset Plaza shopping center.
Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred in North Babylon last week.
Police say two people were sitting in a 2003 Infiniti in the Sunset Plaza shopping center on Deer Park Avenue when someone came up to the vehicle around 10:30 p.m. last Thursday. The robber displayed a gun and demanded the occupants get out of the vehicle. The robber then fled in the Infiniti, police said.
No one was hurt in the incident. Police did not say whether the vehicle has been recovered. No arrests have been made.
