Crimes Nearby: Man Assaulted at Local Bar

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Amityville Village Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man they said assaulted another man at an Amityville bar.

According to police, a man was assaulted by another man at the Bulldog Grill, located at 292 Merrick Road, on January 7 just after midnight. The victim was punched and kicked and suffered a broken jaw that required surgery.

The suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with short dark hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the logo “AERO” on the front.

• Assault at Motel

Crime Stoppers and Suffolk police are seeking help in identifying and locating two women they said assaulted and robbed a man at a Huntington Station motel.

According to police, a man was at the Huntington Country Inn, 275 West Jericho Turnpike, with two women, one white and one black, both approximately 21 years old, when the white woman struck the man in the head with a coffee mug. The two women then robbed the man of cash and his eyeglasses, police said.

• Stolen Home Music System

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man they said stole a home music system from the Central Islip Target.

According to police, a man entered the store on January 12 at approximately 9 a.m. and stole a Sonos HiFi 5 home music system.

• Twenty Ink Cartridges Stolen

Suffolk police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men they said stole ink cartridges from Target.

According to police, two men entered Target in Central Islip on January 12 at 3:35 p.m. and stole approximately 20 ink cartridges. The two men fled the scene in a white Nissan Maxima with a different color rear bumper. One of the men was wearing a leather jacket with symbols on it.
