Deer Park NYCB Branch Robbed

Man in his 40s, unshaven, thin, fair-skinned and about 5 foot 7 inches tall, handed the teller the note demanding cash.

A man brandishing a note demanding cash robbed the Deer Park branch of New York Commercial Bank at 720 Grand Blvd. on Friday, Suffolk County Police said.

According to police, the bank was robbed at 3:20 p.m. whan a man, described as being white, in his 40s, unshaven, thin, fair-skinned and about 5 foot 7 inches tall, handed the teller the note. The bank teller grabbed an undisclosed amount from the drawer and robber fled with the cash.

Police said the man was wearing a brown-collared, long-sleeve shirt, a dark baseball hat, jeans, sneakers and glasses.

The NYCB robbery is only the latest in the Deer Park area. The CVS Pharmacy in Deer Park has been robbed twice in the past month.
