Four Burglaries in a Week in Deer Park

Two more recent burglaries have been reported in Deer Park with the latest two occurring on the same day, according to police.

On Feb. 4, police say someone broke into a home on W. 18th Street through a window and stole a TV, table, iPod and jewelry.

Also on Feb. 4, someone broke a glass door at Jade Exterior Cleaning on Brandywine Drive and stole a lockbox and cash, police said.

In the week prior, there were also two residential burglaries in Deer Park.

On Jan. 27, a burglar broke into a home on Lake Avenue through an unlocked rear window. Jewelry and a tablet were stolen from the home, police said.

On Jan. 30, a burglar broke into an unlocked trailer being used as a residence on a property on Bay Shore Road. Jewelry was reported stolen.

There was a rash of burglaries in Deer Park in the fall, but until recently, it had been relatively quiet on that front.
