No One Hurt in Deer Park House Fire
Firefighters extinguish blaze on Cayuga Avenue Tuesday morning.
Several fire departments battled a blaze at a Deer Park home on Tuesday morning.
Police received the call of a fire on Cayuga Avenue, near Nicolls Road, at 7:20 a.m.
With firefighters arrived on the scene, a shed and a detached garage were engulfed in flames, according to Deer Park firefighter Andrew Duguid.
The fire was declared under control after an hour and a half, Duguid said.
The fire damaged the main part of the home, but no injuries were reported.
