Police: Driver Charged With DWI After Crashing Car Into Deer Park Supermarket
No one hurt inside Waldbaum's following crash Thursday night, police say.
A Dix Hills woman faces a felony DWI charge after she crashed her 2008 Lexus into a Deer Park supermarket Thursday night, police said.
Police received a 911 call at 8:19 p.m. reporting the crash at the Waldbaums located at 1960 Deer Park Avenue.
Jalpa Kalaria apparently lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the glass exit doors on the south side of the supermarket, police said.

Kalaria, 48, sustained bruises in the crash and was transported to Southside Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the store was injured.
Kalaria is charged with DWI, a felony because Kalaria has a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years.
