Police Release Photos of Man Who Robbed Deer Park, N. Babylon Banks

Man is also suspected of robbing a Lake Ronkonkoma bank on Sunday.

Police have released surveillance photos of a man they say committed three bank robberies in Deer Park and North Babylon recently.

The photos come a day after the man robbed a Lake Ronkonkoma TD Bank.

The man entered that bank, located at 474 Portion Road, displayed a handgun and demanded money from a teller at 1:13 p.m., police said.  The teller complied with the demands and the robber fled on foot.

Police say the same man is responsible for robbing a New York Commercial Bank, located at 720 Grand Boulevard, in Deer Park on Sept. 5 and Oct. 11, as well as a North Babylon TD Bank located at 1361 Deer Park Avenue on Oct. 27. A gun was displayed during the Sept. 5 and Oct. 27 robberies, police said.

The robber is described as a white male in his mid-30s to late-40s, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 with a thin build and light complexion.
