Sandy left her mark in Deer Park by ripping the pool roof off of Deer Park High School.
Noor Muhamad, who lives behind the high school, watched the roof tear off and blow toward his home around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
"Everything blew off," he said while picking pieces of the roof off of his front lawn. "We watched it come off little by little."
Pieces of the structure are now spread across the athletic fields, neighbors' yards and nearby trees.
