Police are investigating a home burglary that occurred in Deer Park last week.
Police say the break-in occurred on Sammis Avenue on Nov. 14 sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Jewelry was stolen from the home.
There were also two other residential burglaries in Deer Park last week, on W. 22nd Street on Nov. 11 and Eastwood Avenue on Nov. 16.
There has been a total of four residential burglaries in Deer Park so far this month. A burglary was reported on Somerset Place on Nov. 7. There were five home break-ins in Deer Park in October. Despite the recent burglaries in the area, police have said crime is down in the area this year.
