Vandals Smash, Damage a Half Dozen Cars Overnight

A half dozen vehicles in North Babylon and Deer Park were vandalized overnight, according to Suffolk Police. 

Reports of the damage to four vehicles in North Babylon and two in Deer Park came flooding into police throughout Tuesday morning. 

No arrests have been made. 

Incidents

  • At 12:35 a.m., a resident on Powell Court in North Babylon reported that someone threw a paving stone at a 2005 Dodge, causing damage to a tail light. 
  • At 12:45 a.m., a resident on Liberty Avenue in North Babylon reported that someone threw a brick at the rear window of a 1999 Dodge Durango.
  • At 5:38 a.m., a resident on Strathmore Drive in North Babylon reported that someone smashed the rear side window of a 2007 Toyota Corolla. 
  • At 5:53 a.m., a resident on E. 1st Street in Deer Park reported that someone threw two bricks at a truck. 
  • At 9:30 a.m., a resident on Holmes Avenue in North Babylon reported that someone damaged a 2004 Dodge Neon with a pellet gun.
  • At 10:02 a.m., a resident on Elmwood Road in Deer Park reported that possibly a rock or BB gun has caused a small dent in a 2001 Dodge.
