Deer Park Students Show Support for Sandy Hook

Robert Frost middle schoolers helped turn Sandy Hook students' new elementary school into a winter wonderland.

Robert Frost Middle school students recently came together at the request of the National PTA to show support for students in Newtown, Conn.

The organization asked schools across the country to make 3-D paper snowflakes to decorate the halls of the new school building, following the closure of Sandy Hook Elementary School after the December 14 tragedy.

Students created more than 100 handcrafted snowflakes with bright ribbon, which were sent to Newtown to welcome Sandy Hook students into their new school.
