Jacullo, Levanti Seek Re-election

The board of education race in North Babylon will be a quiet one this year as two current trustees will run unopposed.

Following Monday’s petition filing deadline, the only two candidates to file were current BOE Vice President Audrey Jacullo and trustee Salvatore Levanti. Jacullo has been on the board for more than a decade and Levanti is completing his first term.

Both trustees will be on the ballot May 15 when residents of the North Babylon School District head to the polls to vote on the proposed budget for the 2012-13 school year.
