MGV Students Spread Sunshine at Senior Center

Members of the fourth-grade select swing chorus at North Babylon's Marion G. Vedder Elementary School recently brought some sunshine to the Spangle Drive Senior Center as they visited the seniors and sang songs about spring.

Led by music teacher Lora Dellosso, the students sang “Do, Re, Mi” from “The Sound of Music” and “Rainbow Connection” from “The Muppet Movie.”

“The senior center is one of my favorite places to take the children because they bring smiles and joy to the seniors,” Dellosso said.
