The North Babylon cheerleading team is making school history.
For the first time-ever, the team has qualified for the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Cheerleading Championship at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., said coach Kristin Smith.
The North Babylon cheerleaders attended the UCA Northeast Regional competition on Saturday, Nov. 17. Their score earned them a bid in the national competition, which will take place in Feburuary 2013.
