The Model UN experience gives students opportunities to practice research, public speaking, teamwork, negotiation, and writing skills in a safe and structured environment. Students develop confidence and leadership skills through experience while solving international critical issues. Topical issues such as the Korean Crises, R2P, Use of Drones and Space Disarmament were just a few problems discussed and debated during this conference.

According to Jamima C; “HUMUNC 2014 was phenomenal. Model UN was an amazing experience. It is something that I will cherish forever and I will look back on fondly. I am really glad that I got the opportunity to participate it this year. We had such a great “team” from North Babylon. I made so many great friends with people who I would not have gotten to meet without it. I cannot wait for next year. It provided me with so many useful debate skills.”
