To culminate their unit about Native Americans, Pilgrims and celebrating Thanksgiving, kindergartners at North Babylon’s William E. DeLuca Elementary School held their annual Thanksgiving Breakfast just before the holiday.
Dressed as Native Americans and Pilgrims, each class performed turkey-themed songs for an audience of parents and family members before concluding with a group sing-a-long of the fun Thanksgiving song “Any Turkey Can Tango.”
Following their mini concert, the students enjoyed a small breakfast consisting of cornbread muffins and applesauce.
