Students take part in campaign of kindness founded here on Long Island.

Students at the Parliament Place Elementary School in North Babylon took part in P.S. I Love You Day on February 8th.

Founded by West Islip sophomore Brooke DiPalma in 2012, P.S. I Love You Day is an extension of the campaign of kindness created in memory of DiPalma's father Joseph, to suicide. The movement has grown to support individuals suffering from depression, suicidal thoughts, and bullying.

As part of the campaign, students wore purple shirts, ribbons and anything else they could find to show support for those suffering from depression.
