Members of the Robert Moses Middle School jazz band and select chorus traveled to Albany to take part in the celebration of Music In Our Schools Month.
The North Babylon students, who have participated in the celebration for the past 15 years, performed on the south concourse of Rockefeller State Plaza in the Capital building.
“We were fortunate enough to be able to meet with and have pictures taken with Sen. Philip Boyle and Assemblyman Andrew Raia, as well as Assemblyman Robert Sweeney,” said teacher Tiina Buehler.
