Tuesday's Events: What's Happening Locally

With rainy skies ahead, there's always something going on nearby to keep you occupied this Tuesday!

Keep the jacket handy – more showers are likely in our area throughout the day with highs hovering around 60 and blustery winds continuing all day long.

North Babylon Public Library will host "," a celebration of the author of The Busy Town series of children's books starting at 10:00am. Contests and series themed activities will also be held.

Rita's Italian Ices in Deer Park will be hosting – all ices sold will benefit the school. The fundraiser begins at 6:30pm until 9:00pm.

Learn how to  at the Babylon Library. Tonight's event will include how to make a crystal and bead necklace and starts at 6:30pm. The program is for adults only and costs $5.00.

Take aim at the bulls-eye at the American Legion Post 94 as they host their weekly  at their location in Babylon all evening long.

The North Babylon Library will also host starting at 7:00pm. All levels of knitters welcomed, but newcomers are asked to bring one ball of yarn and a pair of #8 knitting needles. 

The Bean in Babylon will host its weekly  for all aspiring musicians, comedians, writers and poets starting at 7:30pm. Bring your talents and your friends for a great night in a great setting. The "Mic is Open" for you to entertain or listen to others.
