Two Challengers for N. Babylon School Board Seats

Incumbents Jay Shinnick and Bod Scheid both face challengers this year.

The two North Babylon School Board trustees up for re-election this year will face challengers.

Incumbent Jay Shinnick is being challenged by Heather Rowland, who also ran for a board seat in 2011.

Incumbent Bob Scheid faces a challenge from Geri-Ann McNamee.

Last year, both incumbents–Audrey Jacullo and Salvatore Levanti–ran unopposed for another three-year term on the board.

The PTA Council will host a Meet The Candidates Night on Monday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. at North Babylon High School. The budget vote/trustee election is May 21.
