For the ninth consecutive year, kindergarten and first-grade students at North Babylon’s William E. DeLuca Jr. Elementary School celebrated spring by showcasing their creativity.
On April 11, the students proudly wore their creativity on their head, as they participated in the school’s annual Bonnet Day. While wearing their hats, the students went on an egg hunt to find the hidden surprises locked inside the colorful plastic eggs.
The eggs were hidden by principal Norann McManus, who continued her tradition of getting into the spirit of the event by dressing in a bunny costume, much to the delight of the students.
