The North Babylon varsity basketball teams have both made the playoffs this season and will open their run to the championship.
The boys squad, which finished in fourth place with a 9-5 conference record and 11-6 on the whole season, will open against Walt Whitman H.S. on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
The Bulldogs will take on the Wildcats at North Babylon High School and admission will be $4.
The girls varsity squad, capping off a perfect in-conference season at 14-0 and 17-1 overall, will open against a team to still be determined at this time. The game will be on Thursday at North Babylon High School. Admission will also be $4.
Patch will continue to keep an eye on the Bulldogs' runs to the championship.
