Thompson's 3 TDs Power Deer Park to Homecoming Victory
The Falcons shut out Amityville 24-0 at homecoming Saturday.
The Deer Park Falcons delighted a homecoming crowd Saturday with a convincing 24-0 victory over Amityville.
Jashawn Thompson led the way, rushing for 311 yards and three touchdowns, according to MSG Varsity.
The Falcons defense was also dominant with Thompson and David Hamil each collecting a fumble recovery. Chris Tavella, Angel Bien and Zach Lugo all had interceptions during the game.
The win moves Deer Park to 4-2 on the season. The Falcons face a tough test Friday night when they play at Islip, where the Buccaneers are 5-1.
