What’s Happening: This Weekend

Escape the summer sizzler with all of this weekend's great events!

This weekend is set to be big for Deer Park and North Babylon between big events and the rising mercury on the thermostat. Please stay safe this weekend as temperatures as set to stay around 90 degrees until Monday with high humidity making it feel like 95 to 100 degrees. Stay hydrated and keep cool

Friday

Take the kids out to use their imagination and building skills at North Babylon Public Library with  for children in 1st through 5th grade. Come join others to create wonderful pieces of art that will be displayed in the lobby showcase! The fun starts at 7:00pm and is free!

Overlook Beach will be the home of the next show in the  – "Big Shot" will be performing all of Billy Joel's greatest hits. The concert is free for all Babylon residents and begins at 7:30pm.

Saturday

Check out the at Tanger Outlets at The Arches starting at 11:00am. Over 20 local vendors from Long Island's best farms, wineries and bakers will offer up their goods in Suite 525 near Starbucks until 3:00pm.

North Babylon Public Library will be hosting a bunch of furry friends at the  starting at 2:30pm. For ages preschool through fifth grade, come see reptiles, bunnies, chickens and even a hedgehog!

Actor , better known as Vito Spatafore from The Sopranos, will be signing copies of his new book at Francesco's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria in Babylon at 5:00pm. The event itself is free and books should be on hand to purchase.

Tanger Outlets at The Arches will play host to right near the Arches Fountain starting at 6:00pm. The performer was not formally announced but has featured other up and coming acts and should be a great, free event!
