Tanger Outlets Hosting Breast Cancer 5K

Tanger Outlets at the Arches will host its Fourth Annual Fit for a Cure Family 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, Sept. 16, starting at 8:30 a.m.

The timed race will benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. The first 500 registrants will receive a race t-shirt, and all finishers will receive a commemorative participant medal, as well as  shopping discounts.

Tanger’s 5K route is a USA Track and Field certified course with timing provided by Just Finish Inc.

NY Sports Club will provide the pre-race warm up. After the race, Tanger Outlets will be hosting a BBQ for all the participants during the awards ceremony along with entertainment and local vendors hosting merchandise tables.   

Prizes will be awarded to division winners as well as the top male and female finishers in each age category.  Runners can register at www.tangeroutlets.com/race or www.active.com. The registration fee is $20 for adults and $15 for children less than 12 years of age. The participation feee will be $25 on the day of registration.
