N. Babylon Starbucks to Open in July

The North Babylon Starbucks currently under construction will open next month. 

"Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers, and we are happy to confirm that we will be opening a new location in North Babylon, NY on Deer Park Avenue in July," a Starbucks spokesperson wrote in an email to Patch.  

The spokesperson did not indicate a specific date in July. 

The store will be the coffee chain's second location on Route 231 and the third in the Deer Park-North Babylon area. The first is less than two miles up the road and another is located within the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park.

The new Starbucks, being built on the site of a former Mobile gas station in front of the Sunset City shopping center, will include 15 seats and a drive-through.
