New Sneaker & Apparel Business Coming to Deer Park

A new sneaker and apparel shop appears to be on the way in Deer Park.

Solegod's, located on the east side of Route 231 between Grand Blvd. and Lake Ave. is "coming soon" according to a sign in the window, which indicated the store will be carrying a selection of sneakers and apparel.

There was no indication of a specific grand opening date, but the storefront was undergoing renovations as of Monday.

The new location, located about one mile from the Deer Park Tanger Outlets, would be in competition with a handful of stores run by well known athletic footwear brands including adidas, Reebok, Nike and Sketchers.
