Town Spray Parks To Open Saturday
Much-anticipated Geiger Spray Park will have a grand opening on July 13.
The weather is heating up, and the Town of Babylon's water parks are gearing up for their openings.
Venetian Shores and Tanner Park spray parks open on Saturday, June 22.
The newly constructed Geiger Spray Park will have a grand opening on July 13, according to Town Spokesman Kevin Bonner.
The spray park, located on Grand Boulevard on the Deer Park-Wyandanch border, encompasses 14,400 square feet and features more than a dozen elements designed for all age groups.
Town officials told Patch earlier this month that construction on the park was "moving along nicely."
Season passes to town spray parks are available for residents to purchase at the recreation office at Phelps Lane Park.
