Police and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking the public's help in finding a man who used a stolen credit card in Bayport earlier this month.

According to a release issued by Crime Stoppers, a credit card was stolen from a motor vehicle and then used by a white man, who entered the Bayport 7-Eleven on March 7 at 1:40 a.m.

Patchogue
When Hurricane Sandy swept ashore in October, the historic storm significantly altered the shoreline along Suffolk County's south shore and left a breach at Old Inlet on Fire Island.
Now, county officials are blaming the breach for the increase in flooding experienced by residents in many communities that touch the Great South Bay. During a press conference held at Shorefront Park in Patchogue Village Wednesday, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone was joined by numerous county, town and village officials and called for the breach to be repaired.

Half Hollow Hills
A Brentwood man was arrested on a DWI charge following a crash in Dix Hills that seriously injured a passenger early Sunday, police said.
Raphael Guerrero, 37, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on Deer Park Road when he lost control of the vehicle just north of the Northern State Parkway at 4:50 a.m., police said.

North Babylon coffee drinkers rejoice; your very own Starbucks is coming soon.
The well-know national coffee shop chain will be opening a new location at the corner of Woods Road and Route 231 next to Wendy’s in the Sunset City shopping center. A grand opening date has yet to be announced.
